  i really blew it yesterday.

  we had just gotten home from a very long day and we were contemplating what to do for dinner and then a knock at the door.

  the sister was back with an elder and he asked to speak to my husband...completely got his name wrong.

  Well....

  I guess my English wasn't so good because I have seen Mr. Elder in his Cadillac cruising all over my neighborhood.

  I suppose it could be a coincidence.

  But there is a parking lot diagonally from my house and he and another man are sitting over there.

  I am really going to get them now. My neighbor is a police officer and I am going to go talk with her about what I should do.

  They have no business being in that parking lot either it's private property.

  I will keep you all updated.

  What I can't stand is that they have lied to our face the last 2 times when stopping by. I know they were stopping by to spy on us.

  The first time they realized there was a witness in the house was before St. Patricks Day and I had a Tigger St. Pat's Day Flag flying in front of my house.

  The 2 times they've been back since it's because they said they were going to our next door neighbors....who I have informed them now on 3 occasions only speak Portugese and they thought they'd just stop and say hi. I asked them...do you speak Portugese....No...Do you have Watchtowers/Awakes in Portugese...No. So WTF?

  Not to mention last weekend on Mothers Day when they were standing in front of my house pointing at it although they didn't knock!

  Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. I know they are watching us and I'm not being paranoid.

  i told her how i was exiled from the congragation 12 years ago after a bout of domestic violence between me and my unbelieving father.

  Adonis,

  If I were you I would not talk to anyone I would make sure all communication was in written letter form so that you can protect yourself, wife, and children.

  A letter takes time to read and be responded to. You don't have to be bombarded with this all at once.

  Unfortunately, some in the Society will have no compassion for your situation and will probably try to tell you how many boys/men would have loved to be in your shoes with Sister Slimeball. People don't seem to be as outraged when it's a boy being victimized.

  As the mother of 2 sons, I would hang this woman from a tree and beat her like a pinata.

  I am so very sorry for what you have gone through and I know the effects are long lasting.

  Be smart, not hasty. Think of your wife and kids. Everything you do has an effect on them as well. They did not ask to be in this boat with you so you must consider them as well.

  I'm sorry if that sounded mean but children are pure and innocent. Keep yourself well so you can be the best father possible.

  So how do I do this & get it right?

  tomorrow i will be mailing my special do not call, come by, or mail our family anything letter to new york.

  i was told i should also send the same letter to all the local congregations we were once affiliated with.. i did this when we lived at our old address and the letter to the local kh came back returned for having no mailbox.. so how am i supposed to get the letters to them?.

  any idea's?.

  Grandparents give grandson ultimatum

  this is brandon bartlett, formerly 2escaped lifers here on the forum.

  quick background: myself, wife, and two boys (10 and 12), left the borg together about three years ago.

  were da'd a little over a year ago.

  We do not let Darling Husbands mother see our boys any longer.

  We could not trust her to not always try to tell our older son about the WTS teachings.

  We first said no more visits at her house after she tried to give the WTS book of bible stories to him.

  So then we said you must visit at our house...but then it was her telling our son about the meetings.

  So now it's no more visits period.

  It doesn't help that she is mentally ill and is always talking about suicide and sexual issues that are not appropriate for a 5 year old.

  So now no contact.

  I'm sorry for your situation.

  In a perfect world love would come before personal beliefs.

  My Darling Husband is a fader working on his DA letter...it's taken him 7 years...LOL.

  Today we went to our best friends son's birthday party. We celebrate holidays in full force.

  It took quite a long time for that. He didn't see the importance in the days but he does see the importance in them to me.

  Thank you all for your kindness and replies. I still feel badly for yelling and losing my cool. I really try to be a good example to my kids of how you should treat people even if you don't like or agree with them.

  When darling husband and I talk about Jehovahs Witnesses we always call them J-dubs or The Dubs.

  My son told Grandma on the phone today that "The J-duds made mommy cry and they better not come back or I will call 911" He tells my mom everything. My mom was almost in tears with laughter when I told her what happened.

  All in all I guess it worked out.

  I am a bit worried about what's going to happen when news of this gets back to my Monster In Law...one more reason for her to hate me.

  Any idea's how to serve the local congregations with my Do Not Call, Write, Stop By letter? None of the ones in our area have mailboxes.

  If I send my letter to New York and include the names of the congregations we have been affiliated with - will they let them know?

  Any idea's?

  I forgot to tell you I also screamed at them " You people have no F*cking manners showing up at a person's house 2 times at dinner time!!!!"

  I suppose the only way you people will learn any manners is if it's a #1 talk at Theocratic Ministry School or in one of your D*amn Magazines!!!
